PURPOSE. This publication provides guidance and establishes uniformity for drill and ceremonial throughout the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF). AIM. The aim of drill and ceremonial is to contribute to the operational effectiveness of the CAF by: ensuring that the CAF efficiently march and manoeuvre together as one in duty and routine; and. 1.
